Today, as one of only a few national doctoral research universities devoted to a Christian mission, there is little doubt that Samford University far exceeds our founders’ most fervent hopes to attain quality and maintain character.

To advance this vision, we have committed ourselves to a bold and challenging strategic plan, building upon past success and moving from strength to strength. The carefully crafted goals urgently address priorities within each school and promote transformative university-wide initiatives.
